Birthdays!

Hi Everyone!  I hope this post finds you all well.   As you may already know, this year has been one of mixed emotions for me.   The loss of my Alice really hit me hard.  On August 13th  she would of turned 2 years old.  But God had bigger plans for her.  And no matter what she always lives on in my heart!

Now on to happier news, I'd like to take a moment to wish all of Alice's litter mates a Happy Birthday tomorrow!  And a super big Happy Birthday to my Remy and all his lovely litter mates that turned 2 today!  May all the puppies from these two very special litters be happy and blessed where ever they are!

Don't worry Toby I didn't forget about you!
Next time a long awaited Toby update!

Toby

Hi!  My names Toby!   It's nice to meetcha!   I just turned 9 weeks old!   I bet your thinking I look just like my older sister Alice.   Mama seems to think so too!    Apparently, we share similar markings around our eyes and Mama says I even act just like her.   I guess that's a good thing!   By the way, did you know that shoes are yummy?

Yummmmm!!

This is a picture of My big sister Alice before she passed.  Do you think we look alike?

That's my big brother Remy.   He's pretty cool!

He's teaching me to hunt squirrels!

But for now I'll just stick with shoes!

My Alice

Unfortunately, there are no words that help me find peace in this.  My Magnificent girl passed away today.

Alice:  Oh?!  Do we have company?!
Remy:  No, Alice!  It's pirate booty!
Alice:  Wait, so your smelling your own butt?
Remy:  *sigh*  Nooo Alice!  I smell treasure!
Alice:  Um, pretty sure that's just birthday cake.

I can't believe my babies are turning 1 already!
Thank you to Rita, Amy, and Jill!

Cardigan Rules...

  1.    If I like it, it's mine.
  2.    If it's in my mouth, it's mine.
  3.    If I can take it from you, it's mine.
  4.    If I had it a little while ago, it's mine.
  5.    If I'm chewing something up, all the pieces are mine.
  6.    If it's mine, it must never appear to be yours in any way.
  7.    If it looks like mine, it's mine.
  8.    If I saw it first, it's mine.
  9.    If your playing with something and you put it down, it automatically becomes mine.
10.    If it's broken, it's yours.

Unfortunately, I can't take owner ship for this.  I originally found it under a Dachshund Rules poster and decided it applied to Cardis as well!  :D  Have a great weekend everyone!

When Boy Meets Girl

Can I begin by saying that yesterday was truly an awesome day!   Except for my windshield getting cracked on the highway by a stupid rock.  Other then that, it was an all around wonderful day!   "Why," you might ask?    Well, it's all because this little guy came home with me! :D

If you follow's my friend Amy's blog Crazy Cardiness, then you've seen this handsome fella before!
He's actually a cousin to my Alice and born one day apart!   Meet 8 month old Raglans Ratatouille - Remy!  Isn't he a handsome fella?!

Since bringing Remy home yesterday evening the two pups have been inseparable!  And what about Old
Grumpy Pants Zach?!   He actually likes him!   I know I was shocked but I guess he figures it keeps Alice from nibbling on his limbs AND his treats!

Here are some pictures of pictures of the darling duo in action!

Alice to Remy:  "Oh no.  She's at it again with that camera."
Remy: "I hope she gets my good side."

Remy:  "Okay, this is my good side."
Alice:  "I wonder if we should start charging her dog treats?"

Kiss!

=) Now I feel like my little family is complete!

:D Corgi Meet Up

Today Alice and I got to go to our second official Corgi Meet Up in our area!  YAY!  Boy, did we have a lot of fun!  If only I could of taken them all home!  Hehehe!

First to arrive on the scene!

However, that wasn't the case for long.
Soon a whole sea of corgi's showed up!
There must of been at least 20...
but only one little Cardie!

Quick, can you spot the Cardigan in this picture?
Alice didn't seem to mind being different and
I was just happy I knew which corgi was mine!

Pem 1:   Hey you!  I told you to stop copying me!
Pem 2:  What are you talking about?! You're the one copying me!

Pem:  Look kid, I'm digging out of this place!  Keep an eye out, will ya?!

Alice:  Woah... he sure is fast!  Bye-bye mister!

(Just kidding! =D None of the corgi's ran away.  They were all having too much fun!)

And finally, on the way home...
Alice:  Mom, that was fun!  Can we do it again tomorrow?!

=)  The End!
